One Movement. Multiple event types.

Together We Lift operates across three types of events, all designed to support mental health awareness, community connection, and local impact within the fitness space.

While each event may look slightly different, they all share the same goal. To create inclusive environments where people can train, connect, and feel supported, while contributing to something bigger than themselves.

Together we lift - the events

  1. Together We Lift

These are our flagship, coach-led strength events, delivered in partnership with independent gyms across the UK.

Each event is designed to be:

  • inclusive and adaptive friendly

  • accessible to all abilities and experience levels

  • focused on support, not performance

Participants move through structured strength sessions in ability-based groups, creating an environment that removes pressure and encourages connection.

Every event raises funds for a local mental health charity, ensuring that support stays within the community it serves.

2.Expos & community events

Together We Lift also attends fitness exhibitions, industry events, and community gatherings across the UK.

From large-scale events like fitness expos to local industry meet-ups, our presence is focused on:

  • increasing visibility for mental health in strength sports

  • creating opportunities for conversation and connection

  • being a recognised and approachable presence within the fitness space

For many, these events are the first introduction to Together We Lift.

We are on a mission to be THAT SIGN someone needed to see that it is okay to talk, and that through Communication & Trust we can do more.

A Halloween special

These events are delivered by gyms, communities, and individuals who choose to support Together We Lift.

Hosts organise and run their own events, donating a portion of the proceeds to help us continue delivering our work nationwide.

We support these events by:

  • attending in person where possible

  • bringing elements such as the Tandem Deadlift Bar

  • sharing the mission and message behind Together We Lift

These events allow the movement to grow beyond our own footprint, reaching new communities and building long-term support.

Each one of these means so much to us. We get to see these amazing communities coming together of their own accord to raise awareness and funds for us.

Where does the money from events go?

Every pound of event profit is donated to the chosen local charity partner. Additional fundraising (such as donations, raffles, or cakes) is also directed to that charity.
