Together we Lift - kent
in aid of keep talking services
Together We Lift returns to Kent for the second year running. After what an absolutely amazing event hosted at Inclusive Fitness in Whitstable in 2025, we are moving the event to Baypoint Arena in Sandwich.
With the Popularity of the Daz-Tran Truck Pull from last years event, we are delighted to have secured not one but two trucks for this years event!
This event day is more than just a charity truck pull day, this event day is a mental health event to raise awareness for mental health and the importance of Communication & Trust.
Should you wish to sign up for the full event day experience for £30, you will not only get a truck pull but also included within the price you will get the opportunity to be coached by some of the best strength athletes in the country on the following events stations;
Deadlift
Overhead Press, Floor To Overhead
Sandbag to should
The day then concludes with our legendary Tandem Deadlift Bar which allows you to buddy up with someone to showcase how Together We Are Stronger.

event day structure
915am - arrivals
We are asking that for this event that all athletes arrive between 915am and 945am.
Upon arrival we will hand you your wristband and event day t shirt. The wristband indicates the group that you will be in for the event day. Each group is split into equal ability groups based on the information you provided us at the time of entry.
945am Rules meeting / Information of the day.
Ultimately its a charity event day. We are setting World Records, or competing. We are lifting and having a fun day so rules are few and far between, but it will be at this point that we remind everyone to respect one another, and respect the coaches & volunteers who are supporting the event.
10am - 2pm. The event
You will get 40 minutes per event stations in your equal ability groups to work with our event coaches. Between each event station you will get 20 minutes breaks. These breaks are designed to allow you to refuel and begin warming up for your next event stations.
Around mid day you will get a 40 minute break allowing you to on board something larger to each, and to give our event coaches a break also.
During this 40-minute break we aim to fill 20 minutes with a talk relevant to the event.
2PM - Until we are finished
From 2pm we will start our legandary Tandem Deadlift.
We run this event station on it’s own to highlight the significance that our Tandem Deadlift holds. We allow everyone to come together at this stage regardless of ability in order to help support one another and allow people the opportunity to lift with someone they may train with, or know already.
our event day coaches
These are the coaches who will be guiding you through your event day experience. You will get 40 minutes with each coach in your equal ability group.

Who are we raising money for?
All Together We Lift events are in aid of localised mental health services.
This is central to our mission. We believe real impact happens at community level, so every event is designed to support local charities while helping create lasting links between strength spaces, their members and local mental health support.
For this event, we are proud to be fundraising for Keep Talking Services.
Keep Talking Services is a telephone befriending charity. They provide regular calls for people experiencing loneliness, isolation or mental health challenges, offering a listening ear and a genuine connection when it may be needed most.
What makes their approach especially special is the people behind the calls. Keep Talking Services brings together passionate health and social care students from across the UK, giving them the opportunity to support people through honest, compassionate conversations.
Their focus is not on treating someone as a problem to solve, but on treating them as a person who deserves to be heard.
Founded by Alex Richardson Keep Talking Services has grown from a small idea into an award-winning charity. By 2025, it had worked with more than 400 students, supported over 500 clients in Kent and Medway, and was making almost 1,000 calls every month.
Every pound raised will help Keep Talking Services continue reducing loneliness, building connection and ensuring more people have access to a conversation that could make a real difference.
Together We Lift does not take a penny from fundraising.
Event ticket sales are used to cover the cost of running the event, and all profits from the event, alongside any additional donations, go directly to the charity.
