Together we Lift - scotland
A strength-based mental health fundraiser
These events are mental health fundraisers designed to bring the strength community together to showcase how together we are stronger.
This is not a competition. It is a coach-led event training day, open to all abilities. At the Toghether We Lift’s Scottish week event our event stations include;
Standard Deadlift
Log Press
Sandbag loading
Sandbag Toss
And as ever will conclude with our legendary Tandem Deadlift which will see us come together as a collective to lift the bar in pairs, or ever trios to attempt to set a new Scottish Axle Tandem Deadlift Record.

9am Arrivals
We ask that all athletes arrive between 9am & 930am.
Upon arrival you will receive your limited edition event day T Shirt & a Wristband. This wristband will indicate which group you will be in on the day.
945am Rules meeting / Information of the day.
Ultimately its a charity event day. We are setting World Records, or competing. We are lifting and having a fun day so rules are few and far between, but it will be at this point that we remind everyone to respect one another, and respect the coaches & volunteers who are supporting the event.
10am - 2pm. The event
You will get 40 minutes per event stations in your equal ability groups to work with our event coaches. Between each event station you will get 20 minutes breaks. These breaks are designed to allow you to refuel and begin warming up for your next event stations.
Around mid day you will get a 40 minute break allowing you to on board something larger to each, and to give our event coaches a break also.
During this 40-minute break we aim to fill 20 minutes with a talk relevant to the event.
2PM - Until we are finished
From 2pm we will start our legandary Tandem Deadlift.
We run this event station on it’s own to highlight the significance that our Tandem Deadlift holds. We allow everyone to come together at this stage regardless of ability in order to help support one another and allow people the opportunity to lift with someone they may train with, or know already.

Who are we raising money for?
All Together We Lift events are in aid of localised mental health services.
This is central to our mission. We believe real impact happens at a community level, so every event is designed to support local charities, helping build sustainable mental health ecosystems that continue long after the event has finished.
For this event, we are proud to be supporting Scottish Action for Mental Health (SAMH).
SAMH is Scotland’s national mental health charity, delivering over 70 services across communities that provide practical, recovery-focused support to people experiencing mental health challenges. Their work includes community-based support, employability programmes, peer support, and early intervention services, all designed to help individuals build confidence, regain independence, and stay connected within their local community.
They are also leading innovative approaches such as walk-in mental health support hubs, removing barriers like referrals and waiting lists so people can access help when they need it most.
Every pound raised helps SAMH continue delivering accessible, local support, ensuring more people can access the help they need without delay.
Together We Lift does not take a penny from fundraising.
Event ticket sales are used to cover the cost of running the event, and all profits from the event, along with any additional donations, go directly to the charity.
The total amount raised will be confirmed and shared publicly once all event costs are finalised and fundraising pages have closed.
